SOLAR ENERGY SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT
My son is trying to work on something that will win him the Science Fair at his school. Ive been working with him to help him do the research that he needs so that hell be able to present something that will be high quality and might result in him winning a ribbon or a trophy or whatever it is they give the winners.
He looked at a lot of different options but he wound up deciding to pick solar energy as the top of his project. For a solar energy Science Fair project, hes going to have to do a good amount of research to determine how effective solar energy is and what can be done with it, as well as how it is harnessed.
SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS TO POWER THE RV WHILE CAMPING
I love taking my RV to many different locations to go camping in it.
This is really nice camping because there is always a dry place for me to go and I can even have a warm shower when I want one.
There is even electricity as long as there is some kind of plug in at the campground that can be used. The only problem comes when there is no outlet at a campsite.
So that I can go to campsites that dont have electricity and still enjoy all of the comforts of RV camping, I am looking at different solar energy systems that can be used with my RV.
I would love it if I could just plug the RV into a solar panel and get all of my power that way.
This would make it so that I could go camping in a lot of places that Ive avoided in the past.
A SOLAR ADDRESS SIGN IS NECESSARY IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
All the houses have numbers, true, and theyre even (usually) clearly marked. But they are in no particular order, because the builder numbered them as he built them (its a neighborhood of manufactured homes; we all have the same street address with different space numbers) and the area is quite dark, so theres no way (for instance) for the pizza guy to find us in the winter.
So I got a solar address sign, and my neighbors thought it was such a great idea that some of them began to do the same thing. I just looked at the newest home in the neighborhood and the builder has installed one, Luddite though he is. And the pizza guy is more than a little pleased; hes pretty grateful.
